Jeff Snyder: 1st time to try climbing here. Great time! We had 7 people total...several first timers and several experienced climbers. Everyone loved it! Will make this a regular stop everytime we come to PR!!! Great variety of difficulty!

Daniel Chang: I had a great time visiting this climbing gym! Great vibe overall, and the staff and other climbers were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Even though it's a small gym, both walls had very fun and challenging routes. I'm a V5-6 climber at home, but I found V3-4s very challenging here!

Estefania Nieves: Is the only indoors bouldering gym on the island. The people are very nice the gym is small compared to other gyms in the US. Compared to other gyms I don't like it's just 2 hours for $17. I have seen bigger gyms at $15 for all day. If you wanna make it a habit is an expensive one the membership is too expensive $85 monthly and $720 for a whole year. I really love bouldering indoors and it's a shame is so expensive to be able to be frequent.Update: they have a spray wall now but still expensive.

Beth Feindt-Scott: Roca Norte is a beautiful place to climb, and Marianela and Kenneth are the best instructors! My significant other and I have been coming to Roca Norte for 7 months now. We started out doing guided top rope climbs assisted by Marianela and Kenneth, who over time exposed us to mock leading and belaying ourselves. Most recently, we participated in the 3-day Sport Rock Climbing Course where we learned many different skills from lead climbing, lead belaying and rappelling. Safety is at the forefront of every lesson, which helps you feel confident as you learn new techniques. Since initially coming to Roca Norte with no climbing experience, we have felt very supported in our journey of learning all the necessary skills and have made great progress all thanks to the great instruction of Marianela and Kenneth!
Q: The experience with Roca Norte OCG was awesome!! They are very considerate and helpful with gear renting! Very communicative and chill owners. We rent some gear from them and had to fit the pickup time for our schedule. They appeared very understandable and flexible on our situation. And they do have a mountain back at their house where more than 40 routes could be found there! If you are looking for somewhere to climb outdoor and don’t wanna travel too far, their place is definitely a good choice! They have showers and bathrooms too. Highly recommend!
Catherine Reynolds: Highly recommended climbing spot! It is an amazing private crag, well maintained, and they have rentals. Very well labeled routes and a lot of fun! Would definitely recommend as a place to stop whether you are an experienced climber or not. There are routes for everybody!!
Humu Yansane: My 8 year old daughter recently attended a week of summer camp at Roca Norte Outdoor Climbing Gym, and she absolutely loved her experience there. We traveled from New Jersey, and rented an AirBnb in Vega Baja 15 minutes from Roca Norte. Marianela was amazingly helpful with providing us tips prior to arriving. The camp grounds were clean and safe, and they had a lovely and holistic energy to the area. Marianela and her spouse, Ken, were great with the kids, and my daughter was excited to go everyday. Daily communications and pictures were sent via What’sApp, which I very much appreciated. We will definitely returning. I highly recommend this camp if your child is passionate about adventure and climbing.

Antonio Quinones-Rivera: I have been bouldering and climbing,mostly indoors, on and off for several years, but only recently decided to get serious about the sport. In 2023 I took a lead climbing class in an indoor gym. But it was only after I took the three day course at Roca Norte in April of 2024 that I realized that my previous training had left huge gaps in my knowledge. Learning the basics outside, on real rock, makes a huge difference. Thanks to Kenneth and Marianella I now feel prepared and confident to increase my enjoyment of this beautiful sport.
Meg Fredericks: my husband and i had an amazing experience climbing here during our trip to PR! we are indoor boulderers and i’ve always been intimidated by outdoor climbing, but Marianela and Kenneth’s expert guidance, along with the beautiful scenery made it so much more approachable. you can tell this is a labor of love, and they made us fall in love with outdoor climbing as well! definitely visit if you’re looking to get into it, or if you’re completely new to climbing and want an adventurous but safe outdoor experience!
matthew steffens: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We had a great time and Marianella and Jhonsey were very nice and very knowledgeable. Our family ranged from age 8 to 47 and it was a fun challenge in a gorgeous setting. The bathrooms are good and there are shade and sun options while waiting. Me and my whole family had fun. Will definitely visit again next time we're in Puerto Rico.

Jill Davila: We had a great experience at Roca Norte! We made a private reservation with a mixed group of 11 kids and adults age 5–40’s. Some of us had climbed before, but mostly we were all first timers.The owners were welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. They provided a lesson on the proper climbing terminology and protocol that is used while making us feel comfortable and prepared.While two climbers were on the rocks, the rest of us chatted, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and cheered each other on.I highly recommend Roca Norte to anyone who is looking to get outside of their comfort zone, push their perceived limits, and challenge themselves in a positive way!
Anghara Phillips: Roca Norte was a very good place for beginning rock climbers. I went with my 13 year old and 5 year old, and we all have fun. The staff is knowledgeable and experienced, and the location is beautiful. I would recommend it for anyone looking to do something different for the afternoon.

Jan C: Este lugar es mucho mas que un gimnasio y escuela de escalada. Es un lugar mágico. Una vibra súper tranquila que te hace relajarte desde que entras hasta que estas en la roca. Kenneth y Marianela son súper súper súperrrr buena gente y excelentes instructores. Le daría 50 estrellas si pudiera. Gracias a ambos por todo lo enseñado y buenos momentos compartidos. Nos veremos en la roca pronto 😊
Nathan Hernandez: This was by far the most fun thing we did on my recent visit to PR. The couple that runs the gym is a very sweet and educated couple. They were so helpful with our climb, and allowed us the freedom to climb in our own while also ensuring that we were safe the whole time.
Matt Schoenbauer: I cannot recommend Roca Norte highly enough! Marianella and Kenneth were extremely friendly, and made sure that we were safe and well-equipped for the climbs. The routes and views were great, and we had a fantastic time.Our car wouldn’t start when we tried to leave, and they let us stay while we waited for the tow truck and were extremely hospitable. Wonderful people and a wonderful gym!
Mason Thomas: We had an amazing time at the facility, it was so beautiful, rich with nature. The lady who helped us did an amazing job with my 8 yr old son. He really didn’t want to do it but she help him understand fear is controllable. He was able to climb all the way to the top.
