We will drive to the east of the Island so we will pass trough the rain forest and see lots of nature. This natural water slide is located at the backyard of a private property owned by a really cool old guy that everybody loves and helps. Locals keep it clean and supervised. It is just a special space only locals knows about.

We loved that this turned out to be just our family and our guide Giancarlos which made for a very personal experience (vs. the much larger groups that we ran into at the rainforest). Giancarlos arrived promptly at 7am and drove us to the El Yunque in his Toyota Highlander. He guided us carefully through the trail & took personal care of my kids to ensure that they navigated the slippery terrain. Upon reaching the waterfall area, he expertly guided us through the waterslide, waterfall, multiple jumps from 30/15/10/5 ft cliffs and the rope swing. He did all of this while deftly ensuring we steered clear of the larger groups. On our way back, he kindly accommodated our request to stop for tender coconuts and found us a nice place. El Yunque is a natural wonder and I would absolutely recommend exploring it with Giancarlos to make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience!!

G was a amazing host. It was just myself, 16 year old son and 8 year old son. He was very safety conscious and helped the youngest the whole way. Getting up early was the way to go we had everything to ourselves. Showed us the Island and gave us great recommendations for food. Honestly was way better than I was thinking and the best part was my boys loved it!

Amazing, unique experience made even better by the effort and attention Giancarlos provides. We were the first to arrive to the rainforest and had the entire swimming, cliff jumping and rope swing area to ourselves for more than an hour before any other groups arrived. Giancarlos knows the trail by heart and helped us get through the more difficult parts of the hike, providing 1-on-1 guidance along the way and making us feel comfortable. So worth it, you won’t regret booking with Giancarlos!
